Wells and Tracks Project

The Club supports the Wells and Tracks Project.

Club Members are closely associated with this private endeavour to preserve and protect an important aspect of Western Australia’s exploration heritage.

Club members have recently completed a 36 kilometre re-creation of Hunts Track between Yerdanie Rock and Gnarlbine Rock. The story of this important achievement in our State’s exploration heritage is here. Moorine Rock Well and Kodjerning Well were refurbished in June 2021 and a mislocated Bicentennial plaque was relocated in August 2021.

Our next Project is the refurbishment of the Karolin Rock Wells in November.

If you want to help preserve and protect tangible items of our State’s exploration history get in touch.
