Ferguson Valley Tour - It Changes Every Year

Ferguson Valley:  Distance: 430 kilometres approximately.

Description:

Our tour through the beautiful Ferguson Valley starts at Henty Road in Burekup.We enter the Wellington National Parl at the top of Mount Lennard to tackle the Lennard Track, followed by a short but steep run on a powerlines track. After visiting award winning Dardanup Bakery our route take us further through the valley on some overgrown tracks that eventually open out near Pile Road. Overnight on the banks of the Wellington Dam reservoir. Sunday starts with a very interesting, overgrown track past Gnomesville and the Discovery Forest, eventually exiting the bush onto Ferguson Road. It is then a beautiful drive along Henty Road out to South West Highway than to Armadale where our trip ends.

Vehicle Limit: 12.

Participation is by order of nomination.

Meeting Time: 0900 Friday 06/09/2024

Meeting Point: Aldi carpark, 845 South West Highway, Byford.. UHF Channel: 14 (alternative is 15).

What to Bring: Standard recovery gear and camping gear. You need to be self-sufficient in respect of food and water.
